Instead of a conventional wheelchair, would an off-road wheelchair be better in the area to be visited? How about a sled or sit-ski (modified chair with skis) in the snow? Snowshoes and toboggans might be a better alternative to skis for some. Ponchos can be easier to take on and off for some participants rather than conventional jackets. Shorter skis are more appropriate in some cases as participants may find them easier to control.
